our priority is to further strengthen this ecosystem and prepare it for the future: Duddilla Sridharbabu IT Minister of TG

Telangana’s rapid rise in the global life sciences arena is a direct result of our Congress government’s strategic vision and relentless focus on innovation, infrastructure and partnerships.

Attracting more than ₹54,000 crore in investments since December 2023 and creating over 2 lakh jobs across pharma, biotech, medtech and digital health is a testament to the trust that global industry leaders place in our state. Hyderabad’s inclusion among the world’s top seven life sciences clusters and the only one from India reinforces the success of our efforts.

Looking ahead, our priority is to further strengthen this ecosystem and prepare it for the future. Today’s Board Meeting of Telangana Life Sciences has laid the foundation for the next phase of growth with the establishment of the Telangana School of Life Sciences and upgradation of Genome Valley. With the NextGen Life Sciences Policy, we are fully committed to building a $250 billion life sciences economy by 2030 and positioning Telangana as the Life Sciences Capital of Asia.
